Message from Sue Boyce CEO – COVID-19 Response – 1 June 2020

The Victorian Government is starting to ease restrictions in response to COVID – 19 in the community.

Taking every precaution to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Ability Works has continued to trade over the past two months despite the majority of our workforce taking a break on 26 March 2020.

We are pleased to advise that of Wednesday 3rd June 2020, a small number of our team will resume their on-site work. The re-introduction process will involve new hygiene, workplace health and safety procedures and training to accommodate new factory lay-outs and requirements to maintain social distancing.

Through-out June we anticipate a steady return of team members who are both comfortable and competent with the new protocols and procedures. We will remain in close contact with team members through-out the phase in period.

We anticipate that with more team members, we will be in a position to commence work for a broader group of customers. Operational protocols around meetings, deliveries and on-site tours will focus on Workplace Health and Safety compliance at all times to minimise the spread of COVID-19.

Again we thank all stakeholders for their support and understanding of the decisions we have had to take during this difficult time. We empathise and respect that many of our stakeholders have been dealing with their own business challenges. Ability Works will continue to partner in the best possible way for mutual benefit.
