Message from Sue Boyce CEO – COVID-19 Response – 26 June 2020

Over the past two weeks we have seen a lifting of some of the COVID-19 restrictions put in place by Federal and State Governments. In response to easing some restrictions we have had some of our workforce return. Ability Works is meeting all existing and new Workplace Health and Safety protocols around hygiene, social distancing and embedding new operating behaviours.

Due to the recent outbreaks in six municipal areas of Melbourne and the authorities’ advice, we will closely monitor the situation and continue to support the staged return of employees in accordance with the prevailing conditions. Unfortunately this will also likely impact our ability to restart some customer jobs which were in our June/July pipeline. We are however, positive that we are able to resume all planned work from August onwards.

We continue to be grateful that we have so far managed to trade through this pandemic. We have challenging times ahead but we encourage everyone to work together and please keep in contact with us so we can constantly assess our mutual situations and make rational, informed and correct decisions.
